Drehobl in Charleston, SC

Vincent Alvarez switch alley-oop 360 at a backyard not-so-mini-ramp in Charleston

Dan Plunkett bean plant nose blunt

Silas with a nose slide switch 5-0 in the ATL

And the obligatory Drehobl pivot fakie, Atlanta style

Plunkett was a machine on this trip as seen here with a half cab noseblunt revert

Looking rough.....

This kid needed a new deck.

Believe it or not this was day time in the seedy underbelly of an Atlanta bridge.

Contemplation

Mmmmmmm

Silas front blunt under a bridge in Charleston

Vince with a tail block and back heel

Blunt impossible... yep

Vince getting acquainted with the United States Park Police

Is this a donk, box or bubble? I can never tell.

We recently took a trip up to San Francisco to shoot an ad with Dan. We picked up Bigs, the filmer for Delux, and went to check out the spot but it was in pretty bad shape so we called Danger from Grindline to see if he was down to help rebuild the quarter. Luckily he was into it so we went to the store to pick up some supplies. Meanwhile, Dan got to cutting the tranny in his man lair/woodshop.

The next day we loaded up the rented Hummer and headed to the spot. Before anything went down we found a Black Widow Spider crawling on the quarter. True to his name, Danger proceeded to handle the spider picking it up by its web and generally fucking with it. Eventually, somehow the spider got stepped on so we paid tribute to the noble creature by painting its likeness on the finished quarter.

The effort was worth it, Dan came away with this shot. All in a days work, or a couple days work....

It's hard to find a Thrasher video that Dan Drehobl didn't at least have a few clips in, but out of them all, I'm gonna have to go with his part in Hall Of Meat as my favorite. This 1999 part introduced the late Wesley Willis to me, and with tricks like wrap-arounds and dumptrucks to fakie in the Vagabond? You pick a better nomination for a Classic. —Schmitty

"Wait, am I in your shot?"
Despite coming down with some mutant glandular ailment, Roger was still able to man his jib.
No, no, you ugly.
Jon, there's no reasoning with these men, they clearly aren't human.
Cameo Wilson kickflipping the double set.
Rattray frontside 180's the rail.
Off to the Pharmacy signing.
Someone pulled out an old Thrasher issue with a photo of Roger.
Yvonne did several kickflips in a row on a board nearly as big as he was while wearing a Star Wars t-shirt. Awesome.
He is already too cool to smile.
All of the days winners.
